| Leftists of every venue and
occupation love to present themselves as more urbane, sophisticated,
intellectual, open minded, savant and knowledgeable on almost any subject then
there conservative, evangelical counterparts. But seriously, this group is
completely out of touch with the ramifications of their own philosophical
assumptions. Take for example Bertram Russell… |

| To simplify the above we might
say, according to Russell, the heat death of the universe is the final end
of all things human and inhuman. All our endeavors ultimately amount
to a great big existential zero. If so, why did Russell spend so much
time trashing and flailing against Christianity? I mean, if life has no
point, what was he hoping to accomplish? For that matter why does this
category of human being so often resort to ad hominine attacks and excoriation
against viewpoints they disagree with? They even invent words to
marginalize anyone who is skeptical on their take of things Words like
“homophobia” and “islamophobia.” What’s next? Perhaps “eco-econophobia”**
and “utopiaphobia?”***

| What is the purpose of
defending a point of view that is irreverent anyway? And what kind of safe
habitation can be built for the soul on “unyielding despair?” The
left can believe in no future accept a temporary utopia built for the sole
purpose of obtaining self gratification. While at the same time they try
to dodge responsibilities and limited consequences so the utopia of self
indulgence won't be interrupted. For that is all that will escape the
coming Darwinian cosmic death. What vision! What virtue! What
noble goals! What high deals! How inspirational! Sex without
consequences. Party til you die, then leave the mess for the next
generation to clean up. The left must be in love with itself, for as they
see it, nothing else will ultimately matter, as Russell has logically
inferred, all the future is dark, uncertain, pointless and ultimately
hopeless. What else could they be trying to protect with their
animus to all things resembling moral absolutes, traditional values and
anything else coming from a Judeo-Christian wellspring. |

Theism, on the other hand is based in common sense realism, and as
such, is a framework upon which hope can be built. “Atheism’s got nothing” as a
philosophy. For example just the starting premises alone speak volumes…

something from nothing. Then they assert that they are the rational
ones. Nothing exploded and created dirt from which you get morality,
personality and mentality. It's simple, don't you see? You tell
